Welcoming host, beautifully decorated room, including exquisite toiletries and a delightful en suite, made for a fabulous stay, complemented by convenient outdoor dining areas and easy parking just across the road for a stress-free experience.

Cathy is a lovely hostess who went out of her way to ensure our comfort. The breakfast was outstanding with plenty of options, and our room was beautifully decorated and comfy. The three friendly dogs greeted us each morning, adding a nice touch to our stay. We'd definitely recommend this place for couples or quiet families. 🐶

I’ve seen better – but worse too

Kathy, the enthusiastic host, offered fantastic local insights and prepared an exquisite veggie breakfast that left us feeling satisfied. The well-behaved dogs added an endearing touch to our stay , elevating the overall ambiance.

Parking can be quite tricky at peak times, leading to potential stress. the Wi-Fi connectivity struggled to reach our room properly, causing minor inconveniences during our stay.

Freshly cooked veggie breakfast and delightful fresh fruit salad were the perfect start to our day! Oh, and Cathy is incredibly knowledgeable about local eateries. we found out about the Rooftop Cafe just a short stroll away!

I didn’t ask for bottled water, totally my fault, but I reckon a refillable carafe in the room would’ve been a lovely touch—as the water with the softener tasted a bit off! Still, nothing could dim the sparkle of our stay.

The Superior King Room featured a comfortable mattress that many would envy, providing great support for a solid night's sleep. Breakfast options included a delicious full English with oven-baked baby plum tomatoes, ensuring a hearty start to the day.

Bathroom water tasted heavily affected by a softener—definitely not the best choice for drinking. A lack of replacement drinking water bottles each day felt like a missed opportunity, especially for a longer stay. Parking arrangements across the street could pose an inconvenience during busy times.

Free Wi-Fi was spotty. The outdoor dining area was lovely for breakfast with friends.

Breakfast options were plentiful, offering a delightful start to the day. an unfortunate encounter with the owner regarding parking left us both upset, as it highlighted a lack of understanding surrounding disability needs. while we enjoyed delicious grilled fish during breakfast, the owner’s abrupt communication style negatively impacted our overall experience.

the en suite was delightful and bed was super comfotable. really wish there were more snack options.
